Trusses skylight
Description
Trusses skylight designed and installed by Nicolli.
Made out of 7° tilted trusses, paying particular attention to the containment of horizontal thrusts, in order to avoid pressure on the existing structure made of tubular metal beams.
The roofing was built using an insulated continuous façade system, and consists of 18 glass panels with Argon gas glass chamber, low emission, ground with raw profile, of which six fixed and twelve opening using motor driven chains, installed using a Schüco AWS 57 RO profile. A carefully designed bespoke steel bracket and tie rod system provides support for the aluminium frame and ensures the static hold of the assembly.
