Description

The design of the new GPS Bags headquarters begins with the redevelopment of an old industrial area, where the production department, warehouse, and offices are housed in three separate buildings. The exterior of the first two buildings, with different heights, is interrupted by full-height windows clad in expanded mesh, arranged at irregular intervals to add dynamism.
A different approach was followed for the office building, rotated in relation to the other two. It has been designed as a cohesive unit focused on optimal energy management through window frames, a photovoltaic system, and deep terraced floor slabs. Here, the curtain walls are punctuated by expanded mesh sunbreakers, also arranged in an apparently random pattern like in the two rear buildings.
At the back, we have implemented solutions for the windows to preserve ventilation while protecting them from rainwater, while the large sliding doors on the terrace provide convenient access and natural light to the interiors.
The balanced composition between the production areas and the offices makes this architectural complex not only functional but also a distinctive symbol of a leading brand in the production of shopping bags and packaging systems.
