MG Materie Plastiche

The new production plant of MG Materie Plastiche – a leading manufacturer of products and films for packaging, wrapping and protection for sectors such as aerospace, food and medical – features a composite aluminium cladding made and installed by Nicolli. The grey colour of the panels unifies the entire design, which features cuts, windows and other architectural elements that are always different on each elevation.
The main façade takes on a strong personality thanks to the large fixed aluminium blade sunshades that run horizontally for a large part of the elevation. These brise-soleil stop the geometric regularity of the cladding panels and end to the west with the entrance door cubicle complete with automatic entrance door.
The window and door frames were specifically chosen with high insulation, in accordance with the design brief of energy saving and low environmental impact. The rust-coloured exterior finish matches that of the sunshades, while the interior finish is white, to give more light to the offices. The latter are fitted with motorised filtering curtains.
