Tryon

In the redevelopment of the new Tryon headquarters, the existing arched structure was incorporated into an architecture characterised by the colour white and the interplay of solids and voids with the glazing of the curtain walls.
On the main façade, the custom-designed laser-perforated sheet metal wall, also serving as a sunshade for the external staircase, contributes to the originality of this project.
On the first floor, we have a carpentry terrace framed by aluminium composite cladding in contrast, thanks to its black colour, with the rest of the building. Here, two glass skylights with hidden frames, an all-glass parapet and a slatted sunshade on the short side turn the structure into a kind of porch.
Carpentry also features in the cantilever roof and the superstructures on the side elevation, the colour of which complements that of the sunshades with fixed blades strategically positioned by the designer at the top of the continuous façades.
High-performance windows and doors, a double-pitched skylight with motorised opening and a motorised folding doorway complete our work in this building, the volume of which dominates the urban surroundings, also thanks to the parking area adorned with large palm trees.
