Triangular pyramid
Description
We used a Schüco FWS 50 roofing system with a triangular pyramid base shape with fixed grid work, with 6 supporting sections and 6 secondary sections, filled with layered reflecting glass.
Complete with perimeter finishes, it covers a terrace on the first floor of the building.
Although small in size, the irregular geometry of the element entailed a very complex construction procedure, requiring the designing and installation of special brackets for the anchoring of the pyramid to both the supporting structure and the central node.
